Our chain lube is totally transparent, needs very little to achieve optimal lubrication, and is incredibly thin—almost as thin as water—when first sprayed. This enables it to instantly penetrate all moving parts of the chain before setting to a dry, anti-fling layer in a matter of minutes.
BananaSlip lubricant is only thin when initially sprayed, ensuring that it lubricates inside the chain (rather than on the outside like other lubricants) to lessen wear and dissipate heat from riding. Most lubricants spray on in a thick layer and then sit on the outside of the chain (where the least lubrication is actually required) before flinging into the chain guard, all over the wheel, or causing a big, horrible claggy mess.
