Harley-Davidson® Formula+ Transmission and Primary Chaincase Lubricant
The updated VM in Formula+ adds more thickening efficiency and is more shear stable than the old formula by over 30%. This new formulation provides better film thickness and allows for better load-carrying capacity and bearing protection in the transmission.
Developed with a formula of mineral base patented, certified, and approved by Harley-Davidson®, Formula + is a product created to contribute to the transmission gear lubrication necessary to prevent wear.
Formulated to maintain the coefficient of friction to ensure proper operation of the clutch and proper lubrication of the primary chain, this lubricant is approved for use in all phases of the life of the transmission housing and the primary chain.
Do not use it in the crankcase as engine oil.
